Evocations & Transformations in a Contemporary World
Flux are proud to announce their inaugural exhibition; TRANSMUTE, a collection of work by second year Fine Art students from the University of Bolton.
TRANSMUTE investigates themes both personal and universal. Reflections on societal and cultural values, mental health awareness and a throw-away society are explored in transformative ways through a range of media; both digital and physical.
The exhibition invites you to delve into the realms of surrealism and existentialism, where things are flipped on their head; the ordinary becomes the extraordinary and the lost and forgotten offer visual curiosities through imaginative narratives.
Having made connections with a local creative organisation, Flux are delighted to have support from RockIt, which provide opportunities for young creatives in the music industry and building bridges with the arts.
Flux’s show, Transmute, is an exciting opportunity to discover up and coming, diverse artists and can be viewed at Unit V5, The Vaults, Market Place, Bolton, BL1 2AL from 12th May to 16th May. 11.00-18.00
