Artist Statement
In my current practice I have been inspired by liquid art. The studies can vary on a range of different shaped canvases such as circles, rectangles, or squares. I have been very excited about exploring different media and techniques and I have managed to present a range of different canvases of nebula galaxies, ocean waves and Calla Lilies, but as I have been researching further into the subject area of flowers and plants, I am getting more drawn to the topic of plants and looking at them in detail. My intention is to use a microscope to look at different images of plants and flowers and then to create the image myself on a bigger scale. So, when the audience view the piece, they will not see it as a plant, they would just see an unusual pattern or design.
