Artist Statement

My work represents wildlife species that are endangered and I wanted to raise awareness of this by producing sets of mixed media collages. The background of each collage is made up of images that explain the causes for the declining numbers, for example: pollution and deforestation.
This project is one that I have been investigating and working with consistently because I believe it is very important that people realise the impact of the destruction of habitat on wildlife. I hope my art helps to make people consider these issues more carefully.
