Artist Statement
My work focuses on sound how it resonates around us, never totally dies away. It can remain in the mind or in sound waves passing through us. I record audio from a range of sources. I then identify and separate one dominant sound from the spectral or ambient sound. Using digital sources I create large banners that represents a version of sound that is all around us. Giving my audience a sensory experience in the form of an installation.
