Artist Statement
As an artist my surreal imaginary is often filled with heavy symbolism and mysticism. I use vivid, bright shades of contrasting colours so that my work frequently resembles Pop Art. Having concentrated largely on painting over the past few years I felt it was time to experiment with a different technique. Aiming to include narrative in my art, I felt restrained in the space of one canvas to achieve this. I have found a new love in stop motion animation, coming from a background in film it presented itself as the perfect choice of medium for me. My current project is largely focused on traditional and stop motion animation. I want to take the viewer into a different realm filled with magic, and chaos
